Power from Solar Energy

Aside from power production from new fuel plants, Ecotec has come up with a 3 phased hybrid energy solution which involves solar power by day, wind power at night and water power to fill in the gap when necessary. This would render purchasing power from Mexico as a back-up and not the primary power source.

Power from Wind Generation

Utilizing the vast unused land and the strong constant breeze in Belize, wind turbines can efficiently lower the need for reliance on imported electricity and reduce the carbon footprint of producing electricity locally from fossil fuels.

Generating clean and renewable electricity from the wind will augment the existing ability to produce electricity locally from hydro-electric dams and reduce the demand on the diesel powered back up generators.

Power from Energy Stalk Bagasse and Cellulose Waste

Utilizing the waste bagasse from energy stalk processing along with citrus cellulose waste as fuel sources for integrated electric power generators, we can lower the cost of power and need to import from other sources.
